Fayetteville, home to the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, is known as the Track Capital of the World. For five days in March, Fayetteville will be a capital of solar training, with SEI’s highly popular PV101 workshop.
PV101: Solar Electric Design and Installation (Grid-Direct) is designed as an overview of the three basic PV system applications, primarily focusing on grid-direct systems. The goal of the workshop is to create a fundamental understanding of the core concepts necessary to work with all PV systems, including: system components, site analysis, PV module criteria, mounting solutions, safety, and commissioning.
This workshop will also cover the basics of sizing a residential grid-direct system, wire sizing, overcurrent protection, and grounding – all of which will be expanded upon in Solar Energy International’s PV202: Solar Training – Grid Direct Design and the NEC in-person workshop in Fayettville Sept. 12-16.
