Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery, “I Told You So”
Carrie Underwood and Randy Travis once sang this song together on Idol and the pairing of Lauren and Scotty makes perfect sense. Unfortunately for Scotty, who does have that Randy Travis vibe, Lauren outsang him by a mile, which only solidified Scotty as a one-trick pony in my mind. Sadly, I’m sure he will go deep into the competition. He and Lauren are both safe.
