As the world learns more about the US operation that killed Osama Bin Laden, a serving Navy Seal has described the mission to bring him to justice.
Lieutenant Commander Eric Greitens is a US Navy Seal officer and a former commander of an al-Qaeda targeting cell.
He told BBC Radio 5 live: “My first reaction when I heard of Osama Bin Laden’s death was a feeling of pride and happiness.”
“Almost everyone in the Navy Seal community had been training for years for the very purpose of eliminating Osama Bin Laden,” Greitens explained to Nicky Campbell on 5 live Breakfast.
