Where The Jobs Are Going To Be In America

I love the Nitty Gritty.  With everyone screaming  “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs,” I decided to find out the identity of the fastest  growing occupations in America courtesy of Charles Blow of the NY Times, who got his numbers from the Employment Projections Program of the U.S. Department of Labor.

Fughadeabout glamour, investment banking, management consulting, hedge funds, private equity. You dont need a bloody MBA from Harvard, Stanford or Penn to do most of these jobs. Thanks God.

I hereby list the jobs described that are meant to have very high median annual wages; registered nurses, 581,000 by 2018; accountants and auditors,  279,000 by 2018; post-secondary teachers, 257,000, management analysts, 178,000; computer software engineers, 175,000, network systems and data communications analysts, 156,000, physicians and surgeons, 144,000.

In other words, high rewards from areas of medicine , computer sciences, and education.. Nota bene.

The next highest rewards come  from  elementary school teachers,
