Some people are comfortable living a conventional life — a steady job, a family, and doses of traditional entertainment are enough to keep them happy. Jean-Yves Blondeau, aka Rollerman, is not one of those people. He prefers to strap dozens of rollerblade wheels on himself and cruise down steep hills. He is the living embodiment of obscure extreme sports.
Blondeau’s Rollerman suit, also known as Buggy Rollin’, consists of 31 wheels connected to a Stormtrooper-esque outfit. Aside from fictional superhero outfits, a suit can’t generally be described as a vehicle, but the Rollerman suit may be an exception. When traveling downhill Rollerman can reach speeds of up to 70 miles per hour.
As you can see in the video, this is no joke. Blondeau overtakes motorcycles, catches air in the Swiss Alps, and traverses dangerous roadside cliffs that don’t have guard rails. He also visits South Korea and draws perplexed stares from the locals. Somehow the cops aren’t even bothered
