
As of today Microsoft’s super successful Kinect will start to be able to officially interact with Windows. This release comes less than a month after Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced that it was on the way, in what could be his last appearance in a CES keynote. The $250 Kinect has been available for some time but today Microsoft released the official version of the SDK, removing the kit from its beta status. The official Kinect for Windows hardware is now available as well, though it seems to be on pre-order at online retailers.
And what does the 1.0 release of the SDK bring to the Kinect for Windows parts?
