Detectives want shoppers who witnessed the fight to contact them
A man who was stabbed to death at a shopping centre yards from the Olympic Park has been named by police.
Liam Woodards, 24, was knifed during a fight at Westfield in Stratford, east London, on Friday afternoon.
Police were questioning five men aged 20 to 23 over the death but have since released one, aged 23, with a caution for affray and no further action.
Scotland Yard said two other men suffered minor injuries in the incident.
A post-mortem examination on Mr Woodards, who is from Stratford, revealed he died from a stab wound, police said.
The remaining four arrested men are in police custody.
Detectives want shoppers who witnessed the fight, which happened in a busy area of the shopping centre called The Street, to contact them.
Acting Det Ch Insp Andy Kelly said: “We believe that shoppers at the centre may have filmed or photographed some part of the incident on their mobile phones.
“We encourage them to come forward and share this potentially vital material with us.”
