Magnitude 6.6 upheaval hits off Papua New Guinea coast: USGS

(Reuters) – A bulk 6.6 upheaval struck off a seashore of Papua New Guinea early on Sunday internal time, a U.S. Geological Survey said.

The clever upheaval was centered 81 miles east-southeast of Rabaul, New Britain, during a abyss of 43.5 miles, a USGS said.

The upheaval was not approaching to beget a tsunami, according to a Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
