MP pounded by train preserve vandal

A Peterborough MP was pounded by a male who he attempted to stop vandalising a train preserve in a city.

Conservative MP Stewart Jackson pronounced he attempted to make a citizen’s detain on a male after he threw a bottle of drink during a preserve on Broadway on Saturday.

But a male afterwards kicked Mr Jackson, who had been selling with his mother and daughter.

Cambridgeshire Police pronounced a 20-year-old male had been arrested.

Mr Jackson pronounced he saw a male chuck a full bottle of drink during a preserve that cracked a glass.

“I suspicion any of a shards could have harmed a lady or a child so we attempted to make a citizen’s arrest,” he said.

“He squared adult to me and threw a few blows that missed though he swung a flog that done hit though we was not badly injured.

“He afterwards ran divided and my mother called a police.”
