Syrian rebels contend withdrew from executive Damascus district

AMMAN (Reuters) – Syrian rebels withdrew overnight from a executive Damascus district of Midan after entrance underneath complicated bombardment, opposition activists and rebel sources pronounced on Friday.

“It is a tactical withdrawal. We are still in Damascus,” Abu Omar, a rebel commander, pronounced by phone, adding that President Bashar al-Assad‘s army corroborated by armored vehicles subsequently entered low into a district and are now in control of the categorical marketplace area.
