CME Group looks to open European exchange

NEW YORK (Reuters) – CME Group Inc , a biggest U.S. futures sell operator, is looking to emanate a European derivatives exchange in Britain, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing dual people informed with a matter.

According to a Journal, a CME Group skeleton to contention a permit focus to Britain’s Financial Services Authority within days.

The Chicago-based exchanges organisation now runs a Chicago Mercantile Exchange, a Chicago Board of Trade, and a New York Mercantile Exchange.

The CME Group could not be immediately reached for a comment.
