A 21-year-old male has been arrested on guess of a murder of church organist Alan Greaves on Christmas Eve.
Mr Greaves, 68, of High Green, Sheffield, died 3 days after he was pounded while walking to St Saviour’s Church for Midnight Mass.
South Yorkshire Police pronounced a male they had arrested was from a High Green area of Sheffield.
Two group formerly arrested in tie with a murder have been expelled on bail by police.
Det Supt Matt Fenwick, a comparison questioning officer, pronounced a detain followed an “excellent open response” to an interest for new information and a recover of CCTV images on Monday.
He combined enquiries were stability and reiterated his interest to people in Sheffield to continue to come brazen with information.
