Better yet, how about making a machine gun that only requires 4 cheap and commonly available parts that’s capable of firing hundreds Airsoft BBs before a reload is required? The informative video below shows you exactly how to do that for around $15.

The parts you’ll need include a plastic soda bottle, a quick release air compressor adaptor, an air compressor blowgun, and a 7mm by 6-inch brake line.
Your eyes aren’t deceiving you, that is indeed a slice of a tree being played on a modified record player. Created by engineer Bartholomaus Traubeck, the “Years” project consists of an Arduino-powered device that interprets the different age rings of the tree’s cross section into different electronic sounds and melodies. The result is an interestingly contemplative musical piece that is quite easy on the ears.

Traubeck was inspired one day as he was looking at a tree stump and realized it looked remarkably similar to the grooves on a vinyl record. His mind started turning on how he could invent something that could “read” the rings on a wooden record and give audio feedback based on the position of the age lines. As
Read More from the Article Source: http://www.geek.com/articles/geek-cetera/engineer-makes-a-record-out-of-tree-20120211/

The human body is an amazing instrument that has the ability to heal itself from a variety of different maladies. One of the tools the immune system uses is called a T cell which is depicted in the video above. Killer T cells have the ability to identify and attack diseased cells in order to eradicate them from the body of its host. Specifically, the T cell in the video is classified as cytotoxic, meaning that its primary purpose is to go around looking for cancerous cells and eradicate them without causing any damage to the healthy cells in the area.
