Years ago, earning a college degree was well-respected and a passport to a successful life. Today, a diploma mill can call themselves a “college” or even a “university,” attract foreign students to facilitate visas and even grant worthless “degrees of higher learning.”
This cabal of “educators” has even formed companies to accredit themselves. Our federal Department of Education, with Betsy DeVos’ blind love of private schools, is useless for nationally policing this travesty of education, but perhaps California can rid ourselves of this infection.
