Longtime NFL defensive tackle .
In an announcement made via his Instagram account, Ngata stands literally on top … the top of a mountain. Ngata took a photo at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro at 19,341 feet to make the announcement and the obvious joke.
Selected by Baltimore in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft, Ngata was a force in the middle of the defensive line. He spent nine years of his career with the Ravens, primarily used to help keep offensive linemen from getting to the second level and tangling up Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis.
Ngata, a five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion with the Ravens, played in 180 games in his career, recording 32.5 sacks and 519 combined tackles.
