TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 18, 2019 — Northrop Grumman‘s (NYSE: NOC) innovation systems sector seeks to generate 175 new jobs in Cecil County, Md., in line with the expansion of its rocket engine manufacturing facility in Elkton, ExecutiveBiz reported March 5.

The office of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said March 5 the former Orbital ATK business, which Northrop acquired in 2018 to create Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, plans to deliver the job opportunities over five years in a move that supplements the state government’s efforts under the Maryland Jobs Initiative.
