Red Bull is giving a new area of Glendale wings.

The company will be one of the first to move into land the city recently annexed that is slated to become a major industrial corridor, just south of Surprise.

The undeveloped area is south of Peoria Avenue near Loop 303. It’s mostly farmland now but the landowners and the city envision it as a new West Valley manufacturing hub.

Red Bull, along with Ball Corporation and Rauch Fruit Juices, have partnered to build the first plant there, at the southeast corner of Reems Road and Peoria Avenue.
