(Alderson) In Alderson a group of women meets for lunch each month to focus on community, education and fellowship. They’re called CEOS, and it’s been going on since the 1940s.

President of the Blue Sulphur CEOS, Mary Mitchell, describes the groups saying, “Housewives who needed something to do and wanted to help their community.”

The group has an impact. Mitchell says, “We focus on the youth a lot.” Judy Lohmeyer, President of the Greenbrier CEOS chimes in saying, “Lots of stuff at Christmas, especially for retired people.”
