Apple’s longstanding location-tracking applications and are reportedly set for an imminent overhaul that will bring them together in a single iOS app. The app will also include the ability to track Apple-developed hardware tags. According to , the new app will become available on macOS as a native app for the first time, based upon the iOS code — as a further demonstration of  cross-platform development.
