Central Valley School District is one of the “Best Communities for Music Education” according to a national nonprofit.

Central Valley School District is one of the “Best Communities for Music Education,” according to a national nonprofit.

The district was the only one from Beaver County among the 92 school districts recognized statewide by the NAMM Foundation, a nonprofit supported by the National Association of Music Merchants, for their outstanding commitment to music education.

“Pennsylvania continues to be a national leader in advancing strong music programs in its public schools,” Pennsylvania Department of Education Secretary Pedro Rivera said in a statement.

Moon Area and Quaker Valley school districts were also recognized in the program.
