The city of Union is eyeing a new employer who could bring 186 new jobs to the community. And Dayton is weighing a project it says would bring 50 new jobs to the area near the U.S. 35 corridor. 

In all, seven local communities are asking Montgomery County for development funds to lock in business moves or expansions they say could bring to the county 359 total new jobs, while protecting a total of 482 existing jobs.
