Bounce houses, nerf gun battles, an obstacle course and more will bring families together for some lighthearted fun at the Family Fun Fest — and it all goes toward a meaningful purpose.

Family-friendly activities, performances by kids’ groups and community education are a few parts of the charitable festival at Francis Field this Saturday, hosted by Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine.

All proceeds from the fourth annual Family Fun Fest go toward the Alpha-Omega Miracle Home, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping vulnerable young mothers and senior women in St. Johns County. Other nonprofits active in the area, including Habitat for Humanity, the Wildflower Clinic and local churches, will also be in attendance.
