LIMERICK — The state labor and industry secretary used a local technical school Friday as the backdrop for a push to pass the education and workforce development proposals in Gov. Tom Wolf’s budget.

Department of Labor and Industry Secretary Jerry Oleksiak highlighted Wolf’s proposal to expand job training opportunities and career and technical education for students and adult learners through the proposed Statewide Workforce, Education, and Accountability Program during a visit to the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center.
