St. Paul’s Right Track youth internship program will place 32 young people into nine-week summer jobs within a couple of transit stops of Allianz Field, the new Major League Soccer stadium.

All of the participants live in the Midway area and are low-income youth or face other barriers to employment, according to St. Paul Parks and Recreation, which oversees Right Track.

The paid placements, funded in part by $50,000 from the city, will be in wide-ranging fields, from independent filmmaking to community nonprofits, mentoring organizations and retail.
