CHARLES TOWN — Rockwool has sued the Jefferson County Board of Education.

The lawsuit comes after the Jefferson County Board of Education offered to buy 194 acres in order to build a Regional Student Support Center, which would include “ADA accessible athletic facilities for special needs populations” as well as other services for students and parents, The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports that a letter was sent to Rockwool, asking if they had any questions in relation to the condemnation procss.

Rockwool filed the lawsuit on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. It says Rockwool’s state and federal constitutional rights have been violated, and that the Board of Education had already purchased 150
