U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos is visiting Butler County on Friday. 

The sometimes polarizing education leader will deliver remarks at Butler Tech in Fairfield Township, recognize graduating students and tour a manufacturing classroom, according to a release from the U.S. Department of Education.

DeVos will hear directly from students, the release states. 

On Thursday, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown released a statement slamming DeVos and what he called a “radical education agenda” before she’d even been to Ohio.
