Reading, UK. 01 Apr 2019: An innovative corporate training company, based in Reading, UK, began offering a Brexit sale promotion on their professional project management training courses in anticipation of the UK leaving the EU on 29th March.

That day has come and gone but Parallel Project Training have decided to extend the sale of their Association for Project Management (APM) accredited training courses until the new key Brexit date of 12th April 2019.

But with further extensions possible or even no departure from the EU if article 50 is revoked, how long will they need to extend their Brexit sale?

Whatever the outcome of the continued and protracted Brexit issue in the UK parliament, Parallel’s founders are confident that UK businesses still want to develop their professional project management capability to ensure their projects consistently deliver and exceed expectations.

Parallel’s founders, Paul Naybour and John Bolton, are also co-authors, in partnership with The Association for Project Management, of the definitive study guide, “The APM Project Management Qualification Study Guide”. As the largest professional body of its kind in Europe the APM looks set to continue to be a standard setter for the project management profession, particularly since the granting of a Royal Charter elevating project managers to a recognised profession on a par with chartered accountants and chartered engineers.

Paul Naybour, Business Development Director at Parallel Project Training remarked: “In a professional capacity I would not comment on the Brexit situation here in the UK but it is generally accepted that the uncertainty is not good for businesses. My hope is that there will soon be a resolution to the issue and organisations can move forward with any project plans currently on hold.

The need for qualified professionals in the project management environment has never been greater and, whilst we are happy to extend our Brexit sale to encourage more project managers to gain recognised accreditation, we hope that for the sake of businesses and the people of the UK that an agreement is reached soon.”

New and experienced project managers can gain career-enhancing accreditation from internationally recognised bodies via a range of innovative training and coaching methods. Parallel offer training for individuals in the form of traditional classroom courses, e-learning, distance learning and their highly popular podcast series. They also offer bespoke and in-house training for corporations.
