“Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” is rollin’ on to Broadway on Nov. 7, mere weeks before the legendary singer’s 80th birthday.

The biographical musical devoted to the rock ’n’ roll icon’s career will be housed in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York, producers announced last week. Preview performances begin Oct. 12.

The Broadway production follows the musical’s critically acclaimed debut in London’s West End, where it opened in April 2018.

Turner has repeatedly praised the musical’s lead actress, Adrienne Warren, who will reprise her role as the “Proud Mary” belter when the show moves to New York in the fall.
