AdvancePierre Foods, which Tyson acquired in 2017, recalled the 20,373 pounds of beef patties after receiving two consumer complaints April 1 about finding soft purple plastic in the patties, .
The agency is concerned some of the product, produced Nov. 30, 2018 at AdvancePierre’s Enid, Okla. plant, may be frozen in food service freezers.
