ATLANTA — In one of the best fights in recent memory, Israel Adesanya (16-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) claimed the UFC’s interim middleweight title in a classic five-round thriller with Kelvin Gastelum (16-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC).

The interim middleweight title bout was the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC 236 show at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ESPN+.
