RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK — The global EdTech firm Pearson is on the hunt for local talent after it opened a new technology hub in the Research Triangle Park.
On Wednesday, the company held its grand opening of the 31,000-square-foot office located off of Page Road in Durham. Among those in attendance was special guest Timothy Downs, VP for Economic Development at the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce
At present, Pearson is a 24,00-employee company that operates in 70 counties worldwide — with about 150 workers already based in the Triangle. The company is now expected to add 100 new employees within two years.
