Nurse Jeanne Burns was with her daughter and two daughters-in-law, who had babies within three months of each other.

Jeanne Burns’ grandma status has been renewed three times in the last eight months.

The UPMC Hamot neonatal intensive care unit nurse with more than 30 years of experience was right there in the delivery room supporting and caring for her daughter and two daughters-in-law as they welcomed their baby girls into the world recently. 

“It was exciting (learning of their pregnancies) — and not too much of a surprise,” Burns, 55, said. “Even their weddings were all within 13 months of each other.”
