A Swiss electronics company is relocating a manufacturing facility to Gwinnett County and adding 93 new jobs.

Elma Electronic announced the new facility from their headquarters in Switzerland on Wednesday. The manufacturing site, planned for Lawrenceville, is expected to open in July.

The facility will be a hub for Elma’s Optima Stantron products, which are used for industrial and defense purposes, according to a release from Partnership Gwinnett, a private-public economic development group. Elma makes products including circuit boards, cooling fans and monitoring circuits designed to be used in “harsh conditions” including those regularly encountered by the military and in industrial workplaces.
