Gov. Kay Ivey announced Wednesday the largest supplier yet to complement the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA plant in Huntsville.
YKTA will provide an array of parts for the cars to be built at the MTMUS plant at a $220 million plant that will be built on the giant automotive plant’s campus in Limestone County. The supplier plant will create 650 new jobs.
“It’s a significant addition to the growing cluster of suppliers around the Mazda Toyota assembly plant here in Huntsville,” Ivey said. “Alabama business is on a roll and we don’t plan on stopping any time soon.”
