OAKLAND — Do you have diabetes or pre-diabetes? Do you have a family member with diabetes? Want to learn the best choices for your health? Want to earn $20 while learning new ways to be healthy?

Dining with Diabetes is an interactive course targeting individuals with pre-diabetes, type 1 or type 2 diabetes, members of their support system and/or anyone interested in learning more.

The University of Maryland Extension is testing the proven Dining with Diabetes program in Garrett County. The class will include information on diabetes prevention or management and a healthy cooking demonstration with recipes.
