The Department of Education (DOE), under the leadership of Secretary Betsy DeVos, had a very good May. A frequent and deserved target of criticism from higher education critics and commentators, including this contributor, the DOE announced three initiatives this month, all of which have the potential to brighten the higher education landscape.
