The third round of the U.S. Open gets underway Saturday with Gary Woodland , just as he did during last year’s PGA Championship.
He finished that tournament in sixth place and will try again to land his first victory at a major.
He’ll be paired with first-round leader Justin Rose, who’s two shots back. Rose followed his record-tying opening 65 with a 70 and was passed when Woodland shot 65 Friday to go 9 under.
