When began the road to recovery from severe knee injuries sustained on a tumbling pass gone awry on April 5, she had one goal in mind: walking down the aisle at her wedding.

On June 1, less than two months after she had surgery and in front of friends and family gathered at the Fairhope Yacht Club, Cerio accomplished her goal of making it to the altar without a scooter, walker or crutches.
