Ann Butler is testing a new concept for her popular cooking school for children.
Her Edible Education company has opened a temporary pop-up location in the Short Pump Town Center. The shop, located on the upper level near Nordstrom, operates through the end of August.
The new spot features an interactive mobile culinary cart that is a fully equipped mobile cooking station used to teach students in a location Butler said is more convenient for residents of western Henrico County.
“We’re trying a new concept and in a new area,” Butler said. “If the test goes well, then we would seek a permanent location there and then the next move would be other malls” possible in Northern Virginia.
