One of Washington, D.C.’s original go-go bands, EU (Experience Unlimited), has been announced as the headliner for this year’s 2nd Street Festival, held October 5 and 6 in Richmond’s Jackson Ward.

Roughly 30,000 people turn out for the “Two-Street” festival every year to celebrate Jackson Ward and when it was known as “the Harlem of the South.”

Richmond’s Legacy Band will perform soul, R&B, funk and jazz hits on Sunday.

More performers will be announced before the festival.

The 2nd Street Festival features four stages of live entertainment along with a Kidz Zone, food vendors, a marketplace, antique cars and shopping.
