To qualify, students must live in Hartford, attend all four years of high school in the Hartford public school district, have a 93 percent or better cumulative attendance record and graduate with at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. They must be full-time students at any accredited two-year or four-year college. Students attending a four-year school receive up to $5,000 per year, and those attending a two-year school receive up to $2,500 per year.
