The class of 257 students will graduate at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Big Red Gym at the high school.
Each year, the school’s guidance office surveys graduates about their future plans and releases the results before graduation. The survey is done each year to record graduates’ plans and to have the information for follow-up studies the school might do.
A total of 211 students plan to go on to post-secondary education, 82% of the class. In the past 10 years, between 82% and 89% of each class has continued on to further schooling.
Thirty-six students said they either had full-time jobs or would seek full-time work. They make up 14% of the class, the highest percentage in a decade.
