A 10-year-old boy is recovering at home after being hit by a stray bullet Saturday at a minor-league baseball stadium, according to police.

In a seemingly random incident that has puzzled authorities, the boy sustained a bullet wound while he was on the field as part of “Harry Potter Night” at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania — home to the Class AAA Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

The Allentown Police Department said the child — whom as Corey Hagan — was found with a bullet lodged in the back of his right knee, though there were no reports of gunfire within the park or in the surrounding area at the time.
