WINDSOR — Arrow Electronics Inc., a computer products and electronic components distributor, is ending operations at its local asset disposition facility and expects to lay off all 143 workers there by the end of the summer.

In a letter received by the state Labor Department on Tuesday, the company’s director of legal affairs said Arrow Value Recovery — located in the Helmsford Way industrial park off of Day Hill Road — will shut down permanently on or around Sept. 14. The affected employees are not part of a union, the notice advised, and there are no plans to transfer them to different positions within Arrow Electronics.
