About 100 people attended Massillon’s inaugural Neighborhood Community Fair on Saturday at L.C. Jones Park.
MASSILLON Part of a southeast-side community joined together this weekend to garner tips on area safety, health and job placement, as well as taking some time for fun and fellowship.
The city’s inaugural Neighborhood Community Fair took place for a few hours Saturday at L.C. Jones Park on Osage Avenue SE, drawing approximately 100 people, according to Mayor Kathy Catazaro-Perry, who helped to spearhead the event.
“I think everyone had an excellent time,” the mayor said Sunday. “It was well attended for our pilot (effort). We set out to do what we intended.”
