LAWRENCEBURG — As work continues on the Lawrence County Higher Education Center, Tennessee Tech is now looking to build a strong roster of adjunct instructors from southern Middle Tennessee to help bolster the new institution.

“We are very excited about our programs in Lawrence County and want to give local educators, business leaders and anyone qualified the opportunity to help us grow into the future,” said Chris Jackson, site coordinator for Tennessee Tech in Lawrenceburg.

Adjunct positions are temporary teaching positions filled semester-by-semester as needed by the university.

Jackson said Tennessee Tech is looking for potential adjunct instructors for their interdisciplinary studies program which has an emphasis on workplace leadership and human behavior along with the university’s upcoming agribusiness program.
