WISDOM comes with age, but it is preceded by measured and timely responses. To be considered wise before your time, take your time.
Would all human progress cease if there was a 24-hour turnaround time in your decision-making process? In slower, gentler times, the rule was to wait a day before you mailed the letter. Character was judged by letters not mailed.
When others were responsible for getting things out the door, often less-prudent communications would not make deadline. That wise filter no longer exists.
Reaction time is overrated. Instant communications do wonderful things, but they often come with a price. Getting something right cannot be rushed, even though it often is.
