Kevin Spacey’s sexual assault case could be dismissed after his accuser invoked the Fifth Amendment.

The 59-year-old actor has pled not guilty to criminal charges of indecent assault and battery in connection with an allegation he groped a oung man in a bar in July 2016 and now the case may not even make it to trial following the events of a hearing on Monday (08.07.19).

The pretrial meeting in Massachusetts focussed on a phone used by the alleged victim, who texted his girlfriend and sent a video during the alleged assault, with the prosecution explaining they had obtained data, which they shared with the defense, before returning the device to the man’s family, only for it to go missing.
