In preparation of the launch of its new Greenwood fulfillment center, Amazon is hiring more than 1,000 people to work at the Johnson County facility full time.

Amazon’s 600,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Greenwood is looking for people to handle responsibilities like receiving inventory, picking and shipping customer orders, and supporting network logistics, according to a news release.

The company will offer a $15 minimum
