YPSILANTI, MI – YpsiFest kicked off Friday, Aug. 23, at Riverside Park. The three-day festival features local artists and vendors, as well as action theater and the stunt troupe Ring of Steel.

Festival goers have the opportunity to both watch and participate in a variety of activities, including fire shows, fencing and helicopter rides. The festival is free and open to the public.

The fun continues until midnight Saturday, Aug. 24 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25. More information is available on .
